A Case Study:Driving Application-oriented Talents' Innovation Abilities through Subject Competitions

培养高素质的应用型创新人才是应用型本科院校的首要任务。黄山学院充分认识学科竞赛在大学生创新能力培养中的作用,积极探索学科竞赛管理和运作模式,并通过建立课赛融通机制、实施分类分级指导、成立创新实验室、创建工作室等方式,有力地推动了应用型人才创新能力的培养。

Cultivating application-oriented and innovative talents with high quality is the most important task of Applied Undergraduate Colleges. Taking Huangshan University as an example, this paper elaborates the fully understanding of subject competitions which play an important role in cultivating the innovation ability of university students, explores the management and operation modes of subject competitions actively, promotes sustainable development of subject competitions by means of establishing the combination and transformation mechanism for class and competition, implementing classification and gradation guidance, founding creativity laboratory and creating workshops, and cogitates the strategies which subject competitions promotes the cultivating of application-oriented talents creative ability.
