摘要
介绍了日本住友电气最近开发的一种新型非零色散位移光纤(NZ-DSF)。这种NZ-DSF具有小的色散斜率和大的有效面积,同时保持优良的弯曲性能。用这种光纤制造的骨架式光纤带光缆具有优良的光学性能、机械性能、环境性能和接续性能,特别适合于在城市中的WDM系统中应用。
This paper presents a new type non-zero dispersion shifted fiber developed by Sumitomo Electric Industries of Japan. This type of NZ-DSF has small dispersion slope and large effective area while maintaining small bending loss. Slotted core ribbon cables with this type NZ-DSF have good optical mechanical environmental and jointing performances especially suitable for use in metropolitan WDM systems.
