基于应用型人才培养的旅游酒店英语课程改革研究

Study on the Reforms of Tourism Hotel English Curriculum based on the Cultivation of Applied Talents

通过对酒店行业人员所需的能力、知识及相关素质进行深入的调查及研究,结果表明,旅游酒店专业英语是酒店从业人员必备的知识之一。目前的本科旅游酒店英语教育无法满足行业对于旅游酒店英语能力的需求,旅游酒店英语课程改革势在必行。为此,确立了教学改革目标、原则,制定了改革方案和实施方法,并在不断深化。

Through the further survey and study of ability, knowledge and corresponding quality needed by hotel industry employees, the result shows that tourism hotel professional English is the knowledge which hotel employees should be qualified with. At present tourism hotel English education of undergraduates cannot satisfy the requirement of industry for tourism hotel English ability. It is imperative to reform hotel English curriculum. Therefore, it defines the goal and principle of teaching reform, establishing reform scheme and implementing method to deepen it.
