An embedded phase-locked frequency synthesizer for cordless telephone is deve loped, which, based on BiCMOS technology, can be integrated with high-fre quency receiving analog circuit into one chip. The principle, deadzone, maxim um frequency and outputs of the phase/frequency detector are discussed. The ha rdware implementation is presented and results from simulation are discussed.
