In the May 4th era,centering on the early Creation Society,the sentimental literature had become very popular,which revealed the sincere sentimental feelings of intellectuals of that time and the special life character and emotions of modern Chinese people and literature during the historical period of transformation.Through the essence of freedom,the orientation of emotional enlightenment,and the particular aesthetic consciousness and style,it fully demonstrated its unique literary landscape and showed its value and meaning which fitted with the era.
