摘要
针对H.264实现复杂度高,传统的DSP解决方案外围电路复杂,无法实现低功耗与小型化,提出了基于H.264专用芯片MB86H46的高清视频编码器设计方法。设计以MB86H46为压缩核心,利用HDMI接收芯片ADV7611接收高清视频,通过单片机与FPGA分别完成MB86H46与ADV7611初始化与控制,最终输出符合MPEG-2 TS格式的数据流,并由计算机进行解压和显示。实验结果表明,该系统能适应多种标准视频格式,支持最高1080P60的视频实时编码,同时具有压缩率可调、体积小、功耗低和视频恢复质量高等特点。
Aiming at the problem that the low power consumption and miniaturization cannot be achieved due to the high complexity ofH.264 and the complexity of peripheral circuit of traditional DSP solution, the design method of high-definition (HD) video encoder based on H.264 ASIC MB86H46 is proposed. This system uses MB86H46 as the main encoding chip, uses ADV7611 to receive the HD video, and uses MCU and FPGA to achieve the initialization and control of MB86H46 and ADV7611 separately. Finally, the data stream in accordance with MPEG-2 TS format is output, which is compressed and displayed by computer. The experimental results show that the system can support a variety of standard video formats and the video real-time coding up to 1080P60, and also has the features of adjustable compression ratio, small size, low power consumption and high quality video recovery.
