The Study on the Students' Writing Motives from the Perspective of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs——Take Guan Jiangang's My Composition Teaching Reform for Example

摘要 当前写作教学受应试教育影响,片面追求分数和升学率,极少顾及学生写作上的心理需要,以致学生写作缺乏兴趣和动力,写作整体水平也不尽如人意,这也是写作教学长期广为诟病的缘故。人本主义心理学家马斯洛的需要层次理论,尤其是自尊需要和自我实现的需要对于满足学生写作的心理需要,提高学生的写作兴趣有着积极的意义。基于此,在全面掌握该理论的基础上,主要从自尊需要和自我实现需要的角度出发,对管建刚写作教学实验的成功做法进行分析,以期对中学写作教学提供些许有益的启示。 Current teaching of writing is influenced greatly by teaching for examinations. Therefore, teachers keep their eyes on the marks of the students and the rate of admission into higher schools, and pay little attention to the students' psychological needs of writ- ing. As a result, students are not interested in writing and their writing level is average. Humanistic psychologist Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, especially his self-esteem need and self-actualization need play a positive role in satisfying students' psychological needs and improving their interests of writing. Based on this theory, the paper is going to analyze the successful teaching experiment of writing which is done by Guan Jiangang from the perspective of Maslow's self-esteem need and self-actualization need for the purpose of giving effective enlightenment for the teaching of writing in the middle school.
