清水江文书侗字释例

A Case Study of Interpreting the Dong Words in the Qingshuijiang Documents

清水江文书是苗侗民族珍贵的文化遗产,透露了苗侗民族传统社会的诸多历史信息。笔者在参加国家社科基金重大项目"清水江文书整理与研究"的过程中,发现《清水江文书·天柱卷》中就有不少汉字记侗族语言的单字和词汇。本文精选20份契约文书并从中选取具有典型特点的10个侗字,结合地方史志,具体考证并分析这些侗字的本身意义,为进一步深入研究清水江文书提供必要的侗族语言线索。

The Qingshuijiang documents are precious cultural heritage of the Miao and the Dong minorities. They have revealed amounts of historical inforrhation about the Miao and the Dong traditional society. When tak-ing part in the National Social Science Fund Project of ＂ Research and Arrangement of the Qingshuijiang Docu-ments＂, the writers of the present paper have found quite a few Dong words or vocabulary written in Chinese characters. In this paper, 10 typical Dong words are selected for a study and analysis of the meanings embodied in the Dong language. By combining the local history records, the about the Dong language for further research on the Qingshuijiang present writers try to provide necessary clues Documents in future.
