摘要
面对英美文学课程在我国英语专业教学过程中日益边缘化的现状,我们提出采用认知诗学教学模式以切实提高英美文学教学的效度,恢复英美文学的专业本体地位。本文介绍该模式构建的基本原则、理论基础、实施步骤,并以伍尔芙的意识流小说《到灯塔去》为例,展示具体的实施过程。本文最后总结该模式实施的效果和面临的挑战。
To revive the courses of English and American literature from marginalization, we propose adopting a new teaching approach with reference to cognitive poetics, labeled as a Teaching Model of Cognitive Poetics, which is proved to be effective in restoring the ontological status of literature for cultivating qualified English majors. After presenting the general principles, theoretical foundations and teaching steps of the model, this paper proceeds with specific exemplifications by taking Virginia Woolf' s stream of consciousness novel To the Lighthouse as a case implementation. It concludes with the overall effects and challenges of the model.
