In The Midnight ly reverses the conventional Hunt, L.L. Raand fictionalizes a female-dominated ideas of feminism. On the one hand, she highlights world of Werewolves and complete- the alienation of feminine gender, and makes males marginalized, outside and invisible, pursuing something women have strongly opposed in their struggle for gender equality; on the other hand, while downgrading the male function and importance, she virilizes the female characters of the novel in their practice of wolf laws. Her depiction of lesbians as bisexuals lays ground for "female gender" alienation and "masculine personality" shift in post-modern fiction, and brings the dilemma and perplexes of contemporary feminist goals in their struggle for human rights.
