翻译行业产业化和职业化背景下的翻译硕士(MTI)专业课程设置

Curriculum Design for MTI Program from the Perspective of Industrialization and Professionalism of Translation Industry

翻译硕士(MTI)专业的教育目标是培养高层次、应用型的专业化人才,尤其在全球化大环境下,在翻译行业的产业化和职业化特征越来越明显的趋势中,获得越来越多的关注。本文通过对我国目前翻译行业的需求状况进行调查研究,从产业化、职业化的视角来探索从业人员应具备的能力要求,如何在MTI教育培养方案中体现职业化特色,以及创新MTI课程设置等相关问题。

Master of Translation and Interpreting （MTI） program aims to cultivate competent praxis-oriented translators/interpreters, which is attracting even more attention while the tendency of industrialization and professionalism in translation industry has become more and more prevailing in a globalized context. Endeavors to investigate the existing curriculum of MTI program and development situation of translation industry have been made to define qualities of competent MTI graduates from the perspective of industrialization and professionalism, based on which we propose innovative curriculum design of MTI program to meet the needs of translation industry.
