对三羟甲基丙烷 (TMP)的各种不同生产工艺进行了比较 ,介绍了目前国内外三羟甲基丙烷的市场需求及应用的现状 ,指出在今后一定时期内 ,国内对TMP的需求会不断增加 ,而由于生产的TMP原料受到限制 ,TMP仍将处于供不应求的局面。因而在生产原料正丁醛的地区开发TMP的生产具有重要的经济意义。

Different kinds of manufacture processes of trimethylolpropane(TMP)are reviewed and their advantages and disadvantages are discussed.The abroad and domestic market demands and sales of TMP are also presented in this paper.It is demonstrated that China will still be short of TMP because of short of n-butanal.Thus,it is urgent and important to develop the manufacture of TMP in the butanal-produced region.
