On January 30, 2013 the Petrochemical Research Institute of PetroChina has completed the experiments for two-stage hydrogenation of pyrolysis C5 fraction at the Daq-ing Petrochemical Company. Test results have revealed that the content of both diolefins and mono-olefins in hydrotreated products is less than 0.1% to fully meet the specification requiring less than 0.1% of olefins in steam cracking feedstock.
