As a growing number of patients complains about clinical medical staff caused by equipment failures and the subsequent clinical medical staff＇s dissatisfaction towards personnel and engineers of the medical equipment department, the reform on equipment inspection management is launched to effectively reduce the failure rate of medical equipments under the condition of limited numbers of engineers, so as to improve the operation rate, to better use medical equipments, and to increase revenue, with the aim to further improve hospital services and guarantee medical quality and safety.
