摘要
中国特色词汇的翻译是开展国际交流的一个重要内容。本文通过探讨中西方主流媒体在翻译中国特色词汇方面所采用的翻译策略,发现通常西方媒体偏向于异化策略,中国媒体更青睐于同化策略。虽然中外媒体在翻译策略上有所不同,但是两者在翻译中都遵照了以读者为主体的翻译原则。
Translation on Chinese unique expressions is an essential part in international comnunication. Based on western translative strategies on Chinese typical words, this article describes that the western newspapers are inclined to the strategy of foreignizafion, while Chinese newspapers prefer to the strategy of domestication. General speaking, both of them follow the reader-oriented translation principle
