Typical fracture modes of high Characteristics of various fractures with regard carbon steel wire rod in drawing are summarized. to their macrostructures and microstructures and reasons leading to these fractures are analyzed by some representative fracture examples in draw- ing. According to the results of the analysis corresponding improvement measures are proposed.
