Practice of Purification Process for Smelting Molten Steel for High Speed Heavy Rail by Angang

摘要 针对铁道部高速重轨钢新标准,研究了高速重轨钢的生产特点和影响因素,改进了LF造渣和VD吹氩制度等控氢措施,采用了高碳出钢等控氧、控铝技术以及高碳点吹等控氮技术。实践表明,采取措施后,钢中的氢含量达到0.000 25%以下,氮含量达到0.008%以下,夹杂物100%合格,满足了铁道部新标准的要求,形成了鞍钢高速重轨钢的纯净化生产工艺。 Given the new standard for the high speed heavy rail steel issued by China's Ministry of Railways, smelting characteristics and influencing factors in smelting molten steel for the high speed heavy rail are studied. These steps for controlling the content of hydrogen in molten steel such as slag-forming by LF and argon-blowing by VD are modified and the technology for controlling the content of oxygen and aluminium in molten steel when tapping with high content of carbon and the technology for controlling the content of nitrogen when blowing at end point in smelting molten high carbon steel are adopted. The production practice shows that after these steps or technologies are put into operation, the content of hydrogen and nitrogen in the steel is less than 0.000 25% and 0.008% respectively and thus the inclusions in steel are controlled so well that the quality of the heavy rail steel can meet the specifications specified in the new standard by China's Ministry of Railway. Therefore the purification process for smelting molten steel for the high speed heavy rail is developed by Angang.
