Suvey of the Evolution of Some Genres of Ai Lei Before the Northern Song Dynasty

哀诔文诸体是在韵散两大文体的的基础上,于先秦孕育并形成雏形,于汉代逐渐独立,于文学走向自觉的魏晋六朝得到较大发展,于唐宋古文运动走向成熟与繁荣。哀诔诸体因产生于丧葬礼俗的不同阶段与场合,有着不同的功用,因而其体式与风貌等也存在着微妙的差异。

On the basis of essay and Chinese verse, some genres of Ai Lei emerged before the Qin Dynasty, became independent in the Han Dynasty,developed rapidly in the six dynasties including Wei and Jin, and turned into mature and booming in the Tang and Song Dynasties. Because the genres were born in different stages and situations of a funeral,they have their own functions,and subtle discrepancies exist among their styles and features.
