克拉克·克尔的高等教育道德观浅析

摘要 克拉克·克尔是美国当代最负盛名的高等教育家,被美国教育界称为”当代美国高等教育改革的设计师”。他的高等教育思想贯穿于20世纪以来美国的高等教育,对美国高等教育的发展影响深远。克尔直面二战后美国高等教育迅猛发展时期,对学术、科研方面产生的拜金主义等功利化道德问题,倡导改革。他着重以德治校,指出建立与实施师德行为规范准则和工作协议的重要性;强调依法治校,建议构建适当的法律制度;克尔提出高等教育去除行政化,实行民主自制管理机制。借鉴克尔的高等教育道德现思想,有助于从新的角度为当今中国高等教育提供借鉴与参考。 Clark Kerr, the most famous contemporary higher educator in United States, was called "contemporary reform of higher education designer in the United States". The higher education of his thoughts on Higher Educa- tion in the United States since twentieth Century, far-reaching impacted on the development of American higher ed- ucation., After World War II, Kerr facing the rapid development of higher education, the moral problems in the academic, scientific materialism and utilitarianism, advocated reform. Kerr thought managed school mainly with virtue, pointed out that it was very important to establish and imply codes of conduct and work ethics agreement; Kerr emphasized on law in governing school; Kerr suggested that structured the construction of an appropriate legal sys- tem; Kerr proposed that striped the administration from the higher education and put democratic self management mechanism into practice. Drawing on Kerr's higher education moral thought, it was useful for Chinese higher education to find a new angle and provide reference.
