小说内外的“兄弟”——谈鲁迅的《伤逝》和《弟兄》的创作背景

“Brothers” inside and outside Novels——Talking about Lu Xun’s writing background of Shang Shi and Xiong Di

鲁迅的《伤逝》和《弟兄》这两篇小说,在题目和情节上看似相差甚远,其实在内涵上颇有相通之处,都是"哀悼兄弟恩情的断绝"。《伤逝》中的一些情节与现实生活中鲁迅与周作人之间的关系颇为相似,而《弟兄》的笔法更近写实,连其中的一些细节都与两兄弟间发生的故事几乎相同。《伤逝》和《弟兄》都反映出与弟弟周作人关系破裂后鲁迅的痛苦和无奈,反映出鲁迅对弟弟的包容和无法割舍的兄长之爱,也和周作人后来对哥哥不时的射影讽刺形成了鲜明的对比。

Lu Xun’ s two novels Shang Shi and Xiong Di,though they are seemingly quite different in the titles and plots,are actually quite similar in connotation,and both are about ＂the lamentation over the breaking-up of the brotherliness＂.Some plots in Shang Shi are similar to the actual relation between Lu Xun and Zhou Zuoren,while the tricks in Xiong Di are more realistic,even some details in the novel are almost the same as the actual stories between the brothers.Both Shang Shi and Xiong Di reflect,after breaking up with his brother Zhou Zuoren,Lu Xun’ s agony and helplessness,his tolerance to his brother and unalterable brotherly love,which forms striking contrast to Zhou Zuoren’ s occasional innuendo and irony about Lu Xun.
