A Comparative Study on Chinese and Japanese Homologous Idioms

日本文化深受中国文化的影响,在现代日语中可以看到大量与汉语同源的成语,但它们各自表达的意义或词形结构却不尽相同。文章从成语的概念、意义、民族个性三个方面分析了中日同源成语在双方语言中的异同,使人们更好地了解中日民族文化的差异。

Japanese culture has been greatly influenced by Chinese culture.A large number of homologous idioms can be observed in modern Japanese,though they may express different meanings and have different forms from those of Chinese idioms.An analysis is made about the differences and similarities of Chinese and Japanese homologous idioms in their conceptions,meanings and national features,with a purpose to have a better understanding of the differences of these two languages.
