In this paper, the methods and its basic principle for measuring rotational noise of potentiometers are analyzed and the character and applicable range for these measuring methods are presented, and the cause of rotational noise of potentiomenters is described in detail. Besides, in this paper, how the chose measuring methods and measuring instruments properly is introduced when measuring rotational noise of potentiometers. And foundation for design of these measuring instruments is supplied.
