谈对外汉语教材中词汇英译的编写

On Translating the Chinese Vocabulary in Teaching Materials about Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language

生词表是对外汉语教材编写的重要组成部分,其中词汇英译是主要表现手段之一。以初、中级对外汉语教材为研究对象,从准确性、适用性、客观性、规范性四方面对词汇英译有待改进之处进行有针对性的深入分析,可以提高对外汉语教材编写质量,有助于对外汉语教师在实践教学中甄别教材和灵活掌握、运用教材。

The list of new words is an important part of teaching materials about teaching Chinese as a foreign language, in which the English translation is one of the major performing methods. This paper, taking primary and intermediate materials as re- search objects, attempts to analyze the deficiencies in the English translation of vocabularies from the angles of accuracy, applica- bility, objectivity and normalization, which will improve the quality of materials about teaching Chinese as a foreign language and help related teachers examine as well as grasp and apply the materials flexibly.
