Neuroscience Challenges Free Will

自由意志是否存在的问题一直是西方哲学界讨论的经典哲学问题,持相左意见的双方各自捍卫着自己的观点不肯妥协。随着神经科学的发展,脑科学的研究也加入了自由意志的讨论,神经科学的研究成果带来了看得见的证据,对自由意志发起了挑战。神经科学对自由意志的挑战主要体现在:神经科学对自由意志存在的冲击、神经科学对道德责任判定的挑战、神经科学对"自我"的冲击。

Whether there is free will is a classic philosophical question that has been discussed in western philosophy. To be or not to be, both sides refused to compromise. With the development of neuroscience, the research of brain science joins the discussion of free will. The research achievements of neuroscience brought some visible evidences as well as some challenges to free will. Neurosciences mainly have challenges to the following aspects： to the existence of free will, to the moral responsibility judgment and to the ego.
