Different Kinds of Emulsions and Their Applications as Sizing Agents in Papermaking

近年来,纳米技术的发展使得对Pickering乳液的研究也得到迅速发展,其在造纸、食品加工、化妆品、医药等领域具有广阔的应用前景。通过与传统的表面活性剂稳定的乳液相对比,介绍了纳米颗粒稳定的Pickering乳液以及表面活性物质与纳米颗粒协同稳定的Pickering乳液的研究进展。说明了Pickering乳液与传统乳液相比较在造纸工业领域所具有的优势,以及相关的界面变化和乳液的应用。

In recent years, with the development of nanotechnology the research on the Pickering emulsions develop rapidly, they have widely practical future in the domain of papermaking, food processing, cosmetic and medicine.In this paper, we compare Pickering emulsions with the conventional emulsions which are stabilized by surfactants and elaborate the research about Pickering emulsions which stabilized by solid particles and Pickering emulsions which stabilized by surfactants and solid particles.From all of above,we explain what are the preponderances compared with conventional emulsions in papennaking industry.We also mention interface changes and the application of emulsion.
