with the social development, we more and more focus on the contradiction between rural and urban, between re- gional simple lifestyle and economic development of national integration. Through analyzing American writer William Faulk- ner＇ s works, this paper attempts to discuss the possibility of the regionality co - existing with the national integration in the universal principle, learning others＇ experiences to explore solutions to our own social problem.
