摘要
"意象"是中国古代文艺理论中的一个重要范畴,源自《易传》所谓"观物取象"、"立象以尽意"的"易象"。"易象"并非如通常所理解的仅仅是物象,而是与"道"密切相关,具有神秘性、象征性、形上性等特点。相应地,意象的最终指涉也是作者的"形上之思"和作品的"形而上质",这是在通常的意象范畴讨论中注意得不够的。
"Imagery" is an important category in China' s ancient art theories. It originated from "Yixiang" (symbol) in Yizhuan' s so-called "making out images by observing objects" and "establishing images to express meanings". However, "Yixiang" is not just an object as understood. Instead, it is closely related to "Dao" (methedJ, which has mysterious, symbolic and metaphysical features. Relatively, the final reference of imagery is also the author's "metaphysical thinking" and his works' "metaphysical na- ture", which hasn' t attracted enough attention in the discussions concerning the categories of imagery.
