摘要
利用旋转椭球模型和最小势能原理,研究桌面上水银液滴呈现球形的条件,结论是其半径小于毛细常数的五分之一.
The condition of a mercury drop showing sphericity on a desktop is studied by using the model of spberoid and principle of minimum potential energy. It concludes that its radius is less than one fifth of its capillaryconstant.
