中西方新闻记者社会责任观比较

Comparison of the View of Social Responsibility Between Chinese and Western Journalists

新闻记者最基本的社会责任是传播新闻信息,这是其职业要求。中西方新闻界对新闻记者的社会责任观有不同的要求和解释,但是就对社会负责这一点而言,二者有相通之处。记者是处于特定的社会环境中的,由于国家政治制度、经济制度、新闻事业的基础、意识形态、文化传统等因素,中西方新闻记者的社会责任观存在着差异,包括新闻记者所在的新闻事业的性质和新闻体制、新闻记者的社会角色、社会责任观的理论基础、实现社会责任的具体途径等。本文比较了中西方新闻记者社会责任观的异同,由此进一步明确新闻记者的社会责任。

The most basic social responsibility of journalists is to disseminate news and information,which are their professional requirements.There are different requirements and explanations on social responsibilities of the journalists in Chinese and western press media.As for the responsibilities for the society,there is something in common for both of the Chinese and western journalists.As journalists are situated in particular social environment,there are differences on the view of social responsibilities between the Chinese and western journalists considering the factors such as the national political system,the economic system,the basis of the journalist industry,ideologies and the cultural tradition and so on.The differences are shown as the followings： the property of the news cause that the news reports are in,the journalism system,the social characters of the journalists,the theoretical basis of the view of social responsibilities and the specific way to realize the social responsibilities.This paper makes comparisons on the similarities and differences of the view of social responsibilities of the Chinese and western journalists.It further clarifies the social responsibilities of the journalists.
