当前国内英语谚语文化内涵研究现状及对策——以中国知网2000—2012年相关文章为例

Recent Studies on Cultural Elements in English Proverbs in China's Mainland:Problems and Solutions Based on Papers from CNKI Published during Years 2000 to 2012

近年来,国内英语谚语文化内涵研究普遍呈现创新性和深度不足、科学性和系统性欠缺等特点。针对这些特点,从英语谚语在起源、内容、功用以及历史演进等方面的实际出发,提出增强研究的创新性、引入科学的分析框架、增加对英语谚语中深层文化的讨论,以及以历时性来架构深层文化的分析框架等四个方面的对策,希望能有助于增强研究的创新性、体系性及深度,能有助于学习者和使用者更好地理解与把握英语谚语的文化蕴涵和思想实质,使英语谚语在更高的程度上得到运用。

In recent years,research on cultural elements in English proverbs in China has witnessed great deficiencies in creativity,depth,scientificalness and systematicness.Based on studies concerning the origin,content,function and historical evolution of English proverbs,it is suggested that future researchers avoid old topics,employ more scientific analytical framework,pay more attention to the discussion of deep culture,and introduce diachronicism in forming the analytical framework while doing the discussions.It is hoped that the above deficiencies will by and large be removed,and that learners and users of English proverbs may understand better their cultural and ideological content and thereupon use them better.
