This paper introduces the basic description of masonry retaining structure in relevant norms,procedures and manuals,analyzes body parameters,connections,connection method and scope of use of masonry retaining wall and light steel portal frame,provides a brief description of building free-end non bearing masonry wall,and finally proposes the design comments and suggestions.
