Determination of Fluorescent Brightening Agent VBL in Paper Food Packaging Materials by HPLC

目的：建立HPLC测定纸质食品包装材料中荧光增白剂VBL的方法。方法：纸质食品包装样品经甲醇一水（体积比1：1）回流提取，提取液离心、浓缩后，以KromasilC18为固定相，以甲醇一缓冲溶液（三乙胺、冰乙酸、水体积比1：0．4：1000）为流动相，采用梯度洗脱，流速1．0mL／min，检测波长350nm。结果：VBL在0．5-10mg／L范围内线性关系良好（r2=0．9996），方法检出下限为0．01mg／kg（SAV=3），回收率95．55％-102．77％（n=5），相对标准偏差RSD为1．55％。结论：该分析方法灵敏、准确、稳定，能满足纸质食品包装材料中荧光增白剂VBL的测定。

Objective： To establish a method for the determination of Fluorescent Whitening Agent VBL in Paper Food Packaging with HPLC. Method： Samples were regurgitated and extracted with methanol-water（l：l, V/V）. The extract was centrifuged and concentrated with rotating evaporation, then passed through an Kromasil C18 column using methanol- buffer（triethylamine ： acetic acid ： water=l ： 0.4 ： 1 000,V/V/V） as mobile phase with gradient elutio at flow rate of 1.0 mL/ min, and the detection wave length was 350 nm. Results： Under the optimized chromatographic conditions, good linearity of VBL was obtained in the range of 0.5-10.0mg/L （r2=0.9996）, with a LOD of 0.01 mg/kg （S/N=3）; while the average recoveries ranged from 95.55% to 102.77%（n=5）, and the RSD was 1.55%. Conclusion： The proposed method is sensi- tive and accurate as well as repeatable, and can be applied to determine trace VBL in paper food packaging materials with satisfactory results.
