摘要 "超越句子的语言"、"运用中的语言",以及"话语即社会实践"是"话语"界定中影响较大,也是争论较多的几个。而从社会、文化、哲学、文学等角度对话语的界定又展示、预示了话语分析取向的多样性。话语分析关注话语、参与者和交际情景,注重交流过程;在现代社会,随着多媒体交流技术的普及,还需要进行跨媒体,多模态的探讨;目前,话语结构的研究及其成果构成了话语分析的主要方面和进一步研究的基础,而对话语的功能、目的、权势关系等方面的研究已引起人们的重视,多模态话语的研究已纳入诸多学者的视野。结构与功能、单模态与多模态的结合是今后话语分析发展的趋势。＇ Language above the sentence＇, ＇ language in use＇ and ＇ discourse as social practice＇ are the three most influential, yet controversial definitions of discourse. However, different views concerning its definition from sociolinguists, cultural linguists, philosophers, even literary critics predict different analytical approaches. Therefore, discourse analysis should not only take text, context, participants and the process of interaction into consideration. In the multi-media age, different media and modalities are also drawing the attention of scholars . Up to now , in discourse analysis , investigators have made great achievements concerning the structure of discourse, and thus laid the foundation for future research. However, the function, purpose, and power relations of discourse are also attracting more attention. Multimodality is also coming to the fore. The combination of structure and function, monomodality and muhimodality will be the trend of development.
