The article tries to introduce the book ＂Bilingual Education and Bilingual Teaching＂ written by pro- fessor Wang Binhua from the aspects of comparative, theoretical, international and case study. In addition, the article covers the major theories and empirical researches of bilingual education so as to help more readers understand the value of the book and provide some suggestions for the ethnic bilingual teaching of Xinjiang.
