摘要
正在研制的4π带电粒子多探测器系统(MUDAL)[1]由276个探测器单元组成,每个单元由快、慢塑料闪烁体、碘化铯晶体、硅半导体探测器所组成的望远镜构成.总立体角覆盖约全空间的85%-90%,以及有一个很低的能量探测阈。整个探测器系统轴向对称排列,工作在真空中。该探测器系统可以鉴别氢、氦的同位素和Z<18的元素,以及大的能量测量动态范围。
A 4π multi-dectector array for measuring the charged particles in intermediate energy heavy ion induced reactions is described. It consists of 276 detector telescope units, each unit is composed of fast and slow plastic scintillator phoswiches, or fast plastic scintillator and CsI(TI) phoswiches or silicon detector telescopes. The array covers geometrically 85%-90% of the 4 π solid angle with low detection thresholds. The detecotrs, operated under vacuum, are axially symmetrically arranged around the beam line. 1,2,3H, 3,4He isotopes and elements from Li to Ar can be identified and their energies can be measured over a large dynamic range.
