On the Poetry Creation of Guizhou's Modern Poet Li Shutao

贵州近代诗人黎庶焘的诗歌创作取得了较高的艺术成就。其中,一部分诗歌深刻地反映了咸同农民大起义中人民的苦难、政治的黑暗;山水田园诗描写了家乡山水田园美景;咏贫士诗歌咏了自己的生活状态,表达了对亲人、朋友的深情。

As a modern poet in Guizhou, Li Shutao made great achievement in poetry creation. Some of his poems reflect the hardships of the public in the farmers＇ uprisings, and political darkness while some others show the beautiful landscape of his hometown, display his livelihood, and express his feelings for his relatives and friends.
