摘要
将碱回收白泥进行筛选、碳化和研磨处理,精制为涂布纸涂料用的碳酸钙颜料,并用于铜版纸底涂、面涂中替代部分商品重质碳酸钙,分析了对涂料性能和成纸性能的影响。结果表明,精制后白泥的粒度和亮度可以达到涂布纸用重质碳酸钙的要求,黏度高于商品碳酸钙颜料,在高剪切力作用下有增稠行为;涂料中添加白泥碳酸钙,低剪切黏度增加,高剪切条件下仍呈剪切稀化趋势;成纸的亮度略下降,平滑度、光泽度、印刷表面强度有所降低。综合考虑,精制后白泥在铜版纸底涂、面涂中分别以15%、10%替代商品碳酸钙颜料时,对涂料的运行性能和成纸性能不会有明显影响。
Calcium carbonate pigment for paper coating colors was achieved from alkali recovery white mud through refining processes such as screening, carbonization and grinding, and the effects on coating color performance and art paper properties were investigated. The results showed that the refined white mud has similar particle size and brightness parameters to coating grade market ground calcium carbonate (GCC), whereas gets higher viscosities and shear thickening behavior. Low shear viscosities of coating colors increased with more commercial GCC being replaced by refined lime mud in coating formulations, however, the shear thinning trend are not changed. Sheet properties, such as brightness, smoothness, gloss and print surface strength, decreased to a small extent. It was proposed that refined white mud can be applied in base and top coating of art paper to partly replace market GCC pigment, and when the substituting amount are less than 15%, 10% respectively, the coating runnability and final paper would still have good performance.
