Comparison of Defence Formation and Defence Ability between Chinese and American Men's Basketball Teams

通过中美两国男篮在第２６届奥运会竞赛录像观察，对中美两国男篮防守阵型与球员防守能力等进行统计与比较分析。结果表明：两国男篮防守阵型不同；队员的防守理念和能力均有显著差异；防守阵型与队员的防守能力有密切关系。旨在为提高我国男篮运动技术水平提供理论依据．

The authors used video-statistics and theory analysis methods to compare the defence for- mation and defence ability between Sino-Usa men's basketball players in 26st Olympic games. The re- sult indicates that there is some difference in defence formation and in defence ability between two teams. There is some close relationship between defence formation and play's ability. The purpose is to give theory reference for improving our country's men's basketball level.
