当代世界篮球运动发展的趋势是 :队伍大型化 ,队员技术全面 ,位置模糊 ,攻、守、转换速度快 ,更加注重进攻节奏 ,防守凶狠 ,对抗激烈 ,身体接触频繁 ,防守形式变换多 ,中锋活动范围大 ,进攻能里能外 ,打法更加灵活 ,世界篮球运动朝着职业化、产业化方向发展。当前我国篮球水平有所下降 ,面临着困难和挑战 ,但也存在着机遇和希望 ,我国篮球管理人员、教练员和运动员要转变观念 ,解放思想 ,进行管理训练和竞赛体制的改革 ,走职业化道路 ,形成职业篮球和非职业篮球共同发展的格局 ,普及篮球运动 ,扩大篮球人口 ,加强青少年训练 ,多途径培养苗子 ,强化管理 ,狠抓训练 ,振兴篮球事业 。

The development of modern basketball in the world can be summed up as the following:big teams,all-round technique,vague positions,fast attack,defence and exchange,more attention to the attack speed,forceful defence,violent conflicts,frequent body conflicts,various defence tactics,wide range of the center,attack from inside and outside and more flexible tactics.The world basketball is developing on the way to professionaliztion and industrialization.Basketball level in China shows the signs of decrease faced wth challenges and opportunities at the same time.Chinese basketball administrators,instructors and players should change their concept,emancipate their mind,reform the traning,management and competition system,professionalize and popularize the sport.
