意识流文体下译者的翻译策略——接近作者与接近读者

Translator's Strategy on the Style of Stream of Consciousness——Author-Center and Reader-Center

意识流小说作为文学领域的一种特殊文体,译者在对其进行翻译时所选择的翻译策略是不同的。从日渐衰落的"作者中心论"和如今盛行的"读者中心论"的翻译策略方面进行分析,以具有代表性的意识流文学名著《尤利西斯》为例,简要论述这两种翻译策略的优缺点。译者在翻译时应注意处理好作者、作品、读者三者之间的关系,从而为中国文学乃至世界文学译出更多更好的作品。

Stream of consciousness as a special style in literature, the translators＇ choices of translation strategies are different. This paper focuses on the two translation strategies, author-center theory and reader-center theory, taking the typical masterpiece of stream of consciousness in literature ＂Ulysses＂ as an example, to discuss on their advan- tages and disadvantages briefly. The translators should pay attention to how to deal with the relationship among au- thor, text,reader in order to translate more and better works for Chinese literature and world literature.
