Soil mechanics is an important professional basic course in civil engineering, water conservancy project, and other specialty. It has own unique characteristics in several ways, like the object of study, research method, theory system and the way of thinking. With the characteristics of soil mechanics curriculum, and some problems that at present colleges and universities students are low interest in learning soil mechanics course, have the beneficial thinking and discussion on the strategy to improve students＇ interest in learning.
