枚乘卒年与枚皋生年新考

Revisited on Mei Cheng’s Death Year and Mei Gao’s Birth Year

枚乘约于文帝后元七年与或景帝前元元年去吴游梁,景帝后元元年返回淮阴,武帝建元三年(前138)卒,时年约七十三岁;枚皋生于景帝前元元年(前156),武帝建元二年上书梁共王后为郎,建元四年获罪后逃亡长安,元光元年(前134年)遇赦,并上书自荐,以赋才为郎。

Mei Cheng had left Wu for Liang in about the 7th year of Houyuan in the Emperor Wen period or the first year of Qianyuan in the Emperor Jing period and was back to Huaiyin in the first year of Houyuan in the Emperor Jing period.He was died in the third year of Jianyuan in the Emperor Wu period（138 B.C） when he was about 73 years old.Mei Gao was born in the first year of Qianyuan in the Emperor Jing period（156 B.C）.He submitted a written statement to King Gong of the Liang dynasty and got a title of Lang in the second year of Jianyuan in the Emperor Wu period.He escaped to Chang＇an two years later because of his guilty.In the first year of Yuanguang（134 B.C）,he was remitted and sent a memorial to recommend himself and got Lang title again for his Fu writing talent.
