On the Gain and Loss of Five Types of Mode of Western Literary Criticism in the 20th Century

整个20世纪西方的文学批评经历了五种模式的演变,即:客观说的批评模式,实用说的批评模式,表现说的批评模式,模仿说的批评模式和文化批评的模式。整个文学批评在这五种批评模式中交替穿行,研究重心不断变化,其轨迹为:世界—作品—作家—读者—文化。五种模式各有得失,共同演奏着20世纪西方文论的交响乐。

The whole western literary criticism in the 20th century experienced five kinds of pattern evolu tion, namely： objective criticism mode, pragmatic criticism mode, expressive criticism mode, mimesis crit icism mode and the mode of cultural criticism. The whole literary criticism runs through these five kinds of critical mode alternately, its research center changes incessantly, ranging from the world, the text, the writer, the reader, to the culture. Five kinds of modes have advantages as well as disadvantages, perform ing a symphony of western literary theory in the twentieth century.
