基于计算机信息技术的英语学术写作能力发展模式研究 被引量:11

Promoting English Academic Writing in a Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning Environment

摘要 英语专业学生学术素养的培养目前引起国内外语界广泛关注。如何运用计算机信息技术提升英语学术写作能力已经成为新时期外语教育界讨论的热点话题之一。本研究基于知识建构主义和社会认知理论,结合中国本土高校英语教学现状,探索构建适合中国社会文化环境的英语学术写作能力发展模型。通过设计并实施计算机支持协作学习环境,本研究采用实验对比与网络话语量化分析的方法,考察了信息技术在提升社会认知过程与学术写作产出能力中的作用。 This study mainly addresses the current problems of designing, evaluating and examining technology-enhanced learning environment to improve English academic writing in Chinese tertiary language education. Premised on the theories of Knowledge Building, social cognition and academic writing, this study designs and implements a Computer-Supported Knowl- edge Building (CSKB) Environment for English majors. Using quasi-experimental research design and quantitative online dis- course analysis, this study : 1 ) detects an important role of the designed CSKB environment in scaffolding the processes of col- laborative language learning and the output of academic writing; 2) identifies the interrelationships between changes in the process variables, academic writing quality and online knowledge forum (KF) activities; and 3 ) suggestes that KF scaffold use is a significant predictor to development of academic literacy.
