《陈风》是《诗经》中较为直接反映巫觋文化的篇章,巫觋文化与自古的巫祝氛围及外来影响是分不开的。由于这种文化氛围的影响,再参考《陈风》中的其他篇章,我们有理由认为《宛丘》中的主人公不应该是我们通常所认为的巫女,而是一位普通人家的女子。《宛丘》这篇诗歌是对一个男子在一次民间集会上见到了心仪女子的描写。
