虚拟专用网(VPN)技术是当前热门的网络技术。研究、实现VPN的解决方案,对高校的网络安全及信息安全有着极其重要的实用价值。该文介绍了虚拟专用网的技术原理和特点,VPN隧道技术,以及利用VPN技术进行网络部署的模式,给出了VPN在目前网络中的设置实例,保证了校园网数据的安全性。

VPN is currently pop network technology today, so the study of VPN and the realiztion of it is of great practical value for the network security of colleges or universities and for information security. In this article the theory and the characteristics of VPN, the tunnelling protocol technology of VPN, and the mode of the network deployment by using the VPN technology are first discussed; and then the examples of the VPN deployed in the current network are offered so that the safety of the data on campus network can be ensured.
