An Empirical Study on the Relationship between Industrial Structure and Economic Growth in Jilin Province

分析吉林省产业结构的变迁及各产业的区位商状况,利用计量经济学方法建立产业结构对经济增长的贡献模型,揭示吉林省产业结构的演变与经济增长的相互关系。分析表明,吉林省应从提升产业结构的角度来研究促进经济发展的新思路。应充分利用自身的比较优势,继续做大做强农业以及相关的农副业,并在此基础上打造与农产品相关的知名品牌;应继续巩固第二产业的优势地位,保持其主导作用;应在加快产业发展、调整产业结构的同时,大力推进第三产业发展。

A study is conducted to analyze the changes of in^l,strial structure and the conditions of location quo- tient of all industries in Jilin Province. A model of industrial stmcture＇s contribution to economic growth is estab- lished by using the method of econometrics to explore the mutual relationship between the evolution of industrial structure and economic growth in Jilin province. The result reveals that the new ideas should be worked out to improve economic development from the angle of promoting industrial structure in Jilin Province. It is vital for Ji-lin Province to make full use of its comparative advantages to continue to strengthen agriculture and its related in- dustries. Thus, the well-known brands associated with agricultural products could be created. It is still essential to consolidate the dominant position of secondary industry and try to maintain its leading position. Moreover, it is of importance to accelerate the industrial development and adjust industrial structure in order to vigorously pro- mote the development of tertiary industry.
