皇权之于儒士的态度,明初有着从礼遇到打压的演变轨迹。《孟子节文》是皇权从打击儒士的具体行为到悍然入侵儒学思想领域的重要事件,显示了皇权不惜与儒学断然决裂的情绪。儒士"从道不从君"的话语定位及其实际抗争活动,对"势"的反击作用微乎其微,道统不得不屈服于政统,"道"为"势"曲。儒士与皇权政治文化方面的交织关系,透视出儒学工具化的内在本质。

The ortho- dox Confucianism had to yield to the Royalty. Confucianism＇ s essence as a tool emerged by analyzing the political and cultural relations between the Confucian scholars and the Royalty.
