Pushing Forward the Political Reform Actively and Steadily

党的十八大报告明确指出,政治体制改革是我国全面改革的重要组成部分。在政治体制改革问题上,有两个问题是需要澄清的:第一个问题是,对于中国的政治体制改革来讲,不是要不要改革的问题,而是怎么样深化改革的问题;第二个问题是,中国的政治体制改革与经济体制改革是不一样的。我们在推进政治体制改革、建设社会主义民主政治过程中取得的重大进展,集中起来,就是成功地开辟和坚持了中国特色社会主义政治发展道路。在推进政治体制改革过程中,一要把握好根本原则,二要明确奋斗总目标和阶段性任务。深化政府改革包括行政体制改革是一场攻坚战,深化政治体制改革的一个重要任务,就是要以我们自己的经验为基础,完善选举民主与协商民主,形成适合中国国情的民主理论。

The report of 18th CPC National Congress clearly pointed out that our political reform is an important component of a comprehensive reform in our country.On the issue of political reform,there are two problems that need to be clarified: The first problem is that,for China 's political reform,the question is not whether to reform,but the problem of how to deepen the reform;the second problem is that China 's political reform and economic reform are not the same.The significant progress that we have achieved in the process of pushing forward the political reform and building a socialist democratic politics,together,is that successfully open and insist the socialist political development road with Chinese characteristics.In the process of pushing forward the political reform,one is to grasp the fundamental principle;two is to clear the struggling goals and short-term tasks.Deepening government reform,including administrative reform is an uphill battle,deepening political reform is an important task,is to take based on our own experience,improve electoral democracy and deliberative democracy,form the democratic theory for the Chinese situation.
