The refined management on lawn,based on traditional aesthetic standard,has greatly restricted the expression of its natural quality.This article deals with the discussion of the condition of lawn planting,the evolution of lawn ecosystem,landscaping and recreational features.The idea of lawn naturalization has been proposed.Naturalized lawn is the lawn type with natural quality,transformed from a cultivated lawn into a more natural like plant community.It is a low-maintenance man-made landscape in urban settings with both the manual management and natural qualities.
